1. Eat More Whole Foods
You will notice a big change if you just eliminate the fat and sugar in your diet, and eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
2. Stop Bad Habits
If you haven’t stopped already, no more tobacco, heavy drinking, or drug use. Good health can not be attained with these habits and they must be eliminated.
3. Control stress
Stress is powerful and does affect you physically. It shows up as the flu, back aches or joint pain, and is the cause of most doctor visits. Relaxation, meditation, and exercise are all great stress busters.
4. Exercise More
Join the gym, golf, play with the kids, or just walk more. Activity feeds itself. The more you do, the more you will want to do.
5. Get Enough Sleep
This one should be easy – sleep more. Most people are sleep deprived and don’t know it. If you think you are getting enough sleep, try adding an extra hour a day for a week or so and see how you feel. You might be surprised to find you feel better and have more energy.
